"Sababah"

At first you were so foreign to me
Like a sabra in the desert
Distant and prickly to the touch
But as each leila tov and boker tov
went by
you became my chevre
so i took you with me
to Sababah Tzfat
(Tzfat's happening!)
And to Yerushalyim i saw your glowing face in
the Shwarma Store
and standing tearful at the Kotel
And back in Tzfat... I look for sababah daf,
sababah berah yummm shhhh, sababah falafel,
So Sababah chevre
As I traveled back home, i did not shed too many tears because i took you along;
you were my chevre
my mamesh ima and abba
my family yehudit
now here, in golus i wait to see you again
and hear the cry:
Yala yala sababah chevre, Leila TOV!!
Ani yochevet sababah Yisroel

        "Darkness"
Oh, when will the darkness
go away
And will come
a bright and sunny day
I feel I've been here
for eternity,
The darkness closing
in on me.
The choking fear
of Something
Refuses to go away
And leave me
without a care.
I feel the last breath
coming to me.
The fear of Something
closing in all around

        "breeze"
I can smell it very clearly
I can smell it, but cannot desribe it
It floats in through the window
The breeze pushes it around
It's on the tip of my nose,
the tip of my tongue
I wish I could reach out and grab it,
show it to everyone
It's just too far to grasp,
too hard to handle, too
much to tell.
